Position Summary The CDMI curriculum comprises integrated oral health science and basic sciences emphasizing knowledge, skills and values in clinical general dentistry, including specific disciplines of dentistry (e.g. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, etc.) as required for pre-doctoral education in general comprehensive dentistry. The OMS4 program director oversees the OMEDD 1801 OMS-IV core rotation and its educational aspects. They oversee the didactics, testing and day-to-day activities of the course. This includes an in-person orientation on the first day of the rotation, a Wednesday didactic program and a competency based practical exam at the end of the month. They work closely with the OMM scholars and other OMM faculty in the development and deployment of the course offerings.
