This position reports to the Chair of Department of Internal Medicine of AZCOM. Teaching Participate in curricular planning and review meetings, and faculty retreats. Develop, implement, and assess the curriculum as faculty in the pre-clinical courses. Teach clinical lectures, including developing the associated learning objectives and examination questions. The OMS4 program director oversees the OMEDD 1801 OMS-IV core rotation and its educational aspects. They oversee the didactics, testing and day-to-day activities of the course. This includes an in-person orientation on the first day of the rotation, a Wednesday didactic program and a competency based practical exam at the end of the month. They work closely with the OMM scholars and other OMM faculty in the development and deployment of the course offerings. They also review and update the curriculum in coordination with the Department Chair. The program director provides instruction and table training during Wednesday OMM Skills Labs.
