The OMS1 program director oversees the OMEDD 1570 (Fall), 1571 (Winter), and 1572 (Spring) quarters of the Principles of OMM course series. They oversee the didactics, testing and day-to-day activities of the course. They work closely with the OMM scholars and other OMM faculty in the development and deployment of the course offerings. The Clinical Assistant Professor – Periodontist Faculty should have earned a DDS/DMD degree, or equivalent, and a certificate of completion in a CODA accredited in post-doctoral training in Periodontics or must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of practice with primary focus of Periodontics. Candidates must be licensed or be eligible for and obtain licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Illinois. DEA License is also required.
