The Midwestern University PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency training to provide the resident with opportunities to function as an independent practitioner. The resident will gain experience conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care that improves medication therapy. Summary The Research Assistant assists Principal Investigators in both the Master of Public (M.P.H) Program and Pharmacology Department with their research and experiments. Work is performed under direct supervision of the PI or senior member of the lab. The position takes direction from both the M.P.H. Program Director and the Chair of Pharmacology Department.
