Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the facilities on Midwestern University Glendale Campus.  This individual provides general assistance to all other departments/sections as needed.  This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Installs, maintains and repairs minor plumbing, electrical and structural systems campus-wide. Events and classroom setups such as setting up tables/chairs and opening/closing moveable walls. General maintenance of campus facilities to include: interior and exterior painting work. repair of interior/exterior floors and walls. Installs and removes outdoor signs, parking signs, traffic control barriers and overhead banners as required. Moves furniture, filing cabinets and desks, etc. Operates pick-up trucks. Summary Performs skilled work in one or more trade areas and semi-skilled work in a variety of other trade areas. Maintains and cleans campus grounds, buildings, equipment, and vehicles. The regular hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 3:00 pm-11:30 pm, with some flexibility required. Employees may be scheduled to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. This position is located at the campus location.
